And promotion endorsement papers won't bait me, for I have no plans for promotion.

I strongly recommend getting a separate phone for work. Then every day after work, you can just toss it into the deepest drawer you have and they all can go s#-@&_# a @&$&# and #&_$@ themselves :blob_uwu:

I just don’t have a public profile put anywhere. That solves a lot of problems.

My mistake is that I didn't prepare for an FB work account, since I'm not really one to spend much time in SocMed like facebook and Messenger.

And I can't delete that account; my business is also connected there.

I always tell my boss that if he wants to use my personal phone number for work then I should submit my cell phone bill for reimbursement.

@Anon2024 yeah, that can work now since pandemic has already subsided. I only gave my FB account before, months before WHO declared the end to CoViD, and by then, parents and co-teachers already know my FB account.

@melchi it's actually my FB account more than my phone. My phone number is safe; my FB is not. Parents, co-teachers and students can contact me any time, even outside work hours coz of that.

Flips won't waste prepaid credits calling peeps. They'd always go thru Messenger.

And to think, I live 6km away from my school, while they are LITERALLY living on the other block or corner. Yet, they still ask me...this is for parents.

For co-workers, they demand for free.

Like, a superior from our main office is asking me to change my art style to fit their standards in childrens' books, which I have no plans on doing.

They use promotion papers to get me to work. And was calling me throughout my vacation for updates.

Note that this is for free. And my art will become a property of the Philippine government, which I loathe.

So other than credits/shoutouts, I got no compensation for the materials and electricity I'll have to pay.

Should negotiate for money. Tell them no.

Nah. Philippine civil service won't allow a serving official to be compensated for works other than what is stated on his/her job description.

They can give you papers to help your promotion, or thank you certificates for some goddamn flex, but that's it.

As I am being paid to teach, auxillaries like being an artist is a 'thank you' but thankless duty.

Take note, promotion papers will help, but never guarantee your promotion.

So, for a teacher who has an extra talent/skill and being forced to cough out work, it's a losing situation.

One of the best things I did in my life recently is that I uninstalled FB and Messenger app, and let chaos reign among my co-workers.
:blob_aww: :blob_teary: (tears of joy)
Finally.
