China has a history of failed rockets, not too dissimilar to the USA’s during the space race. I feel like they are racing towards an ideal of space while putting less emphasis on material realities such as safety.
It was a lesson that they probably should have learned through the history of the space race, such as the Challenger disaster. There is a reason why NASA is so meticulous nowadays, yes it costs more, but that cost is necessary for safety.
Chinese physical infrastructure has been repeatedly failing in recent years as more and more budgetary decisions are being made at the expense of safety and longevity. I do not know if that has played into the rocket failures
but I will add that for the US, Russia, India, and China have all had major problems over the course of their missile and space programs. Funnily enough, India is the only one that hasn't accidentally blown up any of their test rockets in an unsafe manner due to all the safety checks and prep.
