Well, same old same old. I mean, even with my second teaching job now...

Student 1: What happened?
Student 2: I got groped by this person.
Student 1: Let's go to Sir Hans for help.

Hearing awful stories is exhausting and stressful, but no one else would do it, so I'm back.

Just more careful, and in line with our laws, to avoid getting duped.

The worse is that in this angle, it looks like the groped was truly groped.
Meanwhile there are cases of false accusation that can destroy innocent people. And the groper can act arrogant or fakely innocent.
= hard to tell the truth

I wish police could share their lie detectors. They were already functional 10years ago (and even documentary and stuff)
and still can't understand this big mystery WHY THE HECK ITS NOT MORE COMMON OR MORE EFFECTIVE.

Lie detectors don't really work that well, as far as I know.

I strive to be half a man like you, to be trusted enough by the younguns that they'd call for my help.
And to do the right thing, not the easy thing.

I think it's all men's wish.

But what happened that u got into legal trouble tho-

With exceptions, of course. Like kinks for kids, and other sick stuff.
There is one detail, that should more 100% shared to common public, to the point of common sense,

is that, in prison
there are bunch of criminals, but even them, would gladly gang up together on the -cough- that just entered the prison
(resulting on some funny "anecdotes" from ex-prisoners)

Yes.

But at same time, why "never" use them ?

Imagine you got a lamp that have a 30% of working to detect "hidden demons/ghosts camouflaged as human"
the smart cautious MC wont rely on it to trust people, BUT AT LEAST he will wear it, just in case.

Bc there is like a whole profession guy for this thing. Read the data from the lie detector etc.
Does this guy is working 24/7 in the police station or FBI or what? o_o"
Or is he busy eating donuts all day??? o_o"

PS : also there is even a toy lie detector and the worse is that even this can work between parents/child

I think the lie detector result would be public knowledge, and common people are not bright enough to understand it's unreliable so they'd be loud about it

meh....
i bet the usual bs thing that can happen. In school or conflict.

I trust Hans.
Also even the chad dude teacher that became viral (months ago) about calmly debating the student about JK rowlings, was fired. (1 of his 2 teaching jobs)

@LuoirM it's not really a 'legal trouble'. See, I resigned from my first job treated as a 'hero' by my students. But what made me resign? I'm not afraid of dying, really. However, my mother had just recovered from her breast cancer back then, and the last thing a son wants is to have his mother worry for him because he played 'hero'.

So, when the rapist threatened to kill me, and my school turned a deaf ear, I was forced to resign.

@TsuruI_am_a_bot we don't need lie detectors. The CCTV caught the guy red-handed; I'm encouraging my student to file a case against the perv: "Acts of Lasciviousness". Dude's still 17, yet he thinks he can get away groping girls by hiding behind his mother's skirt.

.............I.......... very think you did the correct choice. Totally would do the same. Proud of you. And you deserve my respect for it (though you already did, so its not changing anything). o_o7
You are a good son. o_o7
