@greyblob sir blob the menacing, don't do this to me. You know what I'm talking about, please, don't do this to me.
@quagma In games they were never popular, outside of games I don't think they faded into obscurity? Sure they lost some of the popularity, but they are still there.
Bonus: days ago, i switched "Recommended content/language" priority to Chinese, now youtube give far better recommendations
(not jp bc they are STRANGELY meh, they spam explanations videos with voice overs)
Reason i changed. I was frustated that despite deleting Y-history SO MANY TIMES, i always fell on 2+ same recommended videos on anime topic at begin. Which was weird EVEN IF THEY ARE POPULAR (old too)
I know how to modify the algorithm, that's not the problem here. Deleting videos from my youtube history or switching "Recommended content/language" priority won't change the music in upcoming games.
Heck, to give a funny example that makes me chuckle.
Watched a op song like usual so algorithm is anime. And had good results. And lot i never knew.
But What was surprised me ! was this particular video :
at that time i watched it, video was like : 8hours ago posted video, 27 views, account 28 subscribers
Me : WTF ? Why dont i get this kind of totally new videos recommendations when having "EN" as main language????
Though i recommend, in same vein of logic for finding good CNs, its: "to think outside the box"
or like finding a good compilation of OP is faster by searching "Dont dance/Dont sing to the op" challenges
Tsuru, it's not about finding them. It's about a trend. Trend where everyone tries to do a song similar to Midir's theme rather than Gwyn's theme(Envy don't crucify me, I like both). Obviously there is music like Gwyn's theme, I can find it, and I enjoy it. What I am lamenting is the fact that the ratio is skewed, and I'm tired of stuff that is popular.

I won't crucify you. Midir is not even my favorite theme in that game.
I don't listen to those, because my early experience in "EPIC" covers was only a convoluted remix of overly-loud song, with some sliver of orchestra mixed in, and unclear lyrics because of editing quality.
