If I must say, it might be due to how boring the plot is, lack of action scene etc, and the cheat system provided to MC is meh. The nine slots system, if I remembered correctly, the system allows MC to use nine of his past incarnations' skills to boost his current strength.

Which sounds like a great system, but alas the plot is bad.

Can you talk a bit about the plot?
What red flags are there? Racism (demons are inferior creatures and monke strong shit), sexism (this woman with thems curves is always acting like some kind of whore), China numba wan (doubt it since it doesn't have reincarnation), harem, too op mc etc

The novel I initially enjoyed that was like it (according to summary) was eternal tale but then mc ended up being too op and it became boring.
From a slow pace novel with mostly emotional undertones and mc staying in the shadows it became mc just rolling over everything and pushing his will onto everybody

Unfortunately I was unable to recall the plot and where I stopped and I am not going back there again.

If I must add, there might not be racism in the first hundred chapters because everyome is chinese. But there will be classism.

The MC here is, if I recall correctly, weak and soft in the first hundred chapters, with him mainly being an audience while all the action is happening.

Such as plotting for usurp, murder etc.

And if I am not wrong, the bonds between characters either is weak or non-existent, with people fading in and out of the work. They managed to feel 1 dimensioned.

By racism I meant like treating animal demons as actual animals and pets which always feels fucking disgusting when I read it. Or those creatures being somehow inferior a priori (like devils incapable of self-organisation and governance being chaotic muscleheads) Like, those creatures are as sapient as any human and they deserve as much respect as anyone.
