Any case, rant out. I'll retreat back to self-isolation, since it's weekend.

I'm with you Hans. I just want a safe place where people can grow as writers in a community of writers. I have my thoughts on why the forums are currently estranged but I'll post something on that at a later date. I do not think this site is dying or imploding though. It's just not the same as it was and it bothers me too. Still, less drama than we had in 2019 and 2020.

2019-2021 ScribbleHub got drama queens, but mature enough to recognize the differences of others' opinions and get along.

There are still occasionally good writing threads. One of my last threads was about concision, and I only make crimson like Corty.

Absent staff is not something we should be afraid of. HOMM3 community not exactly thrive, but they were growing until certain something split the community, all while not having any big corppo behind them. Everything was made with the hands of community. Well, ok, the base game was made by 3DO, but they quickly stopped the support.

This site is for kids and ametures and is not perceived as professional site. That will always be a limiting factor for growth.

Dunno guys, I never even heard about it before coming here. So there is not any reputation outside the boundaries of the forum to speak of.

People who read on the main site aren't represented by the forum members. You have to remember a very small percentage of people use the forums.

Oh right, maybe its because nobody knows the site exists. I only found this place by chance.

I found this site by clicking a NU link. One of the stories here was advertised.
