Hitting someone’s preferences is a fun thing though, well, as long as they understand that preferences are subjective and making fun of them isn’t an attack on them but a way of showing you like them as people.

My intrusive thoughts are suppressed so far.

I just don't like it when I annoy people, so better be safe than sorry later on.

It may not be enough to supress them, it may help to realize why you do not want them. ie reject the desire. Not really an easy thing, i was memeing.

You can't actually suppress intrusive thoughts. You can only suppress potential negative actions that arise from intrusive thoughts.

However, you can supress intrusive thots.

Ah right...well, I'm suppressing it. Pretty successful so far, so no worries about that side of me.
