a majority of CN novels are like that, not just the summaries. it's like voluntary brain euthanasia. they're not even hiding the fact that they're wish fulfillments. I bet there's some really good ones but so far I haven't seen one that doesn't make me want to French Kiss a shotgun.

One I can recommend would be Coiling dragon, Stellar Transformation, and ISSTH. Though all of them are long, at least their plot moves forward and end before 2000 chapters. Also have some interesting points along the way.
