God, I hate it when they don't screen for pedos and sex offenders in jobs specifically requiring not having those in them.

Filipino society is heavy on patrons and nepotism, so it's normal here. What's different this time is that DepEd has clear guidelines on what to do should I encounter such incidents, unlike when I first reported a teacher-student rape case.

Our DepEd secretary, for all her stupidity, can be credited for recognizing the growing problem with pedophile teachers, groomers and perverts inside the education system we have.
