6000 is not small… I went to Iceland where towns only had 80 people. That is small.

It is super small! Not as small as the town I lived before this one (that had 3 grocery stores, 5 fast food, and practically zero housing other than employee housing and 1 hotel), but relative to my hometown, which has a 100,000, give or take 10,000, people, it's minute!

Town I live has 3k people

That town I stayed in only had one small convenience store and a food court where everyone there eats at.

No other businesses there except the cabin that was outside the town.

I also lived in a town with 1.5k people, and the people there were incredibly racist.

I only saw white people in that Iceland town, it was a fishing village. Maybe village is more accurate to say than town.
