I guess she would already be Batwoman first before being Brittany Wayne, to separate the two identities even further?

I won't transition. But if I had to speak about it as a bystander, I assume nothing major will happen. Same old beating up the bad guys and instilling fear.

I think that after B.Wayne transitions she'd probably keep up the shtick with batman until she'd be able to fake her death and come back as a separate bat related hero

or she'd keep the duel life thing in order to prevent people from connecting her to batman

Hmmm... that would be difficult, wouldn't it? She would either have to redesign the outfit considerably, both for the change in body shape and for covering more of the body in general.

@HelloHound Do you think Wayne is hellbent on being called batman? Whenever I saw stories about Batman's successors\succession it was not about him refusing to give up the mantle. Usually it is a story about how others are not ready in his opinion or some similart stuff, like a generation gap.

I was thinking if she was already trans but didn't transition, she would use her vigilante identity as an excuse, starting with Batwoman and using the voice changer to feminize her voice, instead of making it scary.
that would be a good separation from Batwoman and Bruce Wayne. I mean, Bruce Wayne is just a playboy, Batwoman is the scary lady that beats up homeless people, they're obviously different people.

To keep up the schtick would be really hard with all of those cunning villains. One would undoubtedly discover. Hopefully, with the transition, after she did what HelloHound said, she will start killing the mass murderers. Get rid of the chance of her identity getting revealed.

Oh, right. There is also non-batman part of batman's life. Still think nothing will change. But my take has the same weight as yours. It depends on an author. Some authors write series where basically every villain knows who Batman is, some don't. So it's the same thing here.

To start with, I'm not a nerd about this specific topic and thus am not saying this from a place of knowledge but Batman was named by nobody else but batman

there's not that many stories where they reveal Batman's identity actually...
the ones who discover his identity uses the obvious connection of Batman's technology with Wayne Enterprises' technology.
at most they would think Bruce Wayne is her supporter or lover

@TheMonotonePuppet Batman does not kill. Not because he is mentally strong, but because he is mentally weak. I doubt transition will change it.

@SailusGebel I was about to reject your theory, but you're pretty much right. he draws the line in killing because he knows he wouldn't just stop at one, turning into a symbol of fear not only to the criminals, but to the common people.
you have to be mentally strong to kill someone and keep going with your life the same way it was.

@dummycake Again, depends on an author. A quick Google search told me that at least in one story Hugo Strange learned of his identity after Waybe has come to him for a treatment. So not everyone learns it via technology.
