Allow me to consult my reading list...

I've read 2 of the three. Added bog standard isekai to my reading list.

Reincarnated as a sword has an official translation. I think I read it to book 5 or so before I lost interest. I really liked it but it became confusing after going on for so long like it wanted to pivot but didn't do a good job.

Runesmith is good kuropon has been really consistent in updating that for years. Early on the main character isn't very likable but the current chapters have him turning a new leaf and IMO it got a lot better.

Both Bog Standard Isekai and The Runesmith have good strong plots, excellent characterization and a healthy dose of Description. You can tell that these authors know how to write a good story!

As for I Was a Sword When I Reincarnated (WN) (translation), I'm going to have to agree with you. It looks like the author wanted to go somewhere with the story, but their Publisher or Agent talked them out of it -- and into writing a battle manga type story.
