Reading the title and synopsis, I'd never guess! Without your recommendation, I would have completely overlooked it.

Perhaps because they have a better translation and are available on Web Novel. It's a bit like those who consider Solo Leveling a masterpiece, when there are plenty of better novels and even manhwa out there.

Read Genocide online, it has one of the most interesting mc that is a mass murderer, it is too a subversion of the typical psychopathic mass murderer. It was the book that made me fall in love with dark stories.

@Tsuru @Voidiris People are happy with mediocrity these days. They do not search for the real masterpieces, which require people to search through the lesser known works, which have had less advertising. They also have a higher entry level than those series which are easily read and disposable.

It's about reading quantity than quality these days. That's why web novels have so many chapters (that work as fillers while the authors try to pursue a coherent plot but fail with so many plot holes in the end) instead of small books and coherent sagas.

Indeed, that's the reason why I have always so many that novel that seem interesting, of course most things are mediocre but I try to enjoy mediocre things too.
