Don't worry after intense emotions most of the times a backlash of emptiness follows, I'm going now to see the novel.

I'd suggest you read the Kamisu Reina series first. They aren't interconnected, but it is the same author, and I believe the emotional satisfaction by the end would be worth the read. I was laughing halfway through the novel—three different accounts and one thing being common: she is beautiful. That's Reina for you.
Albeit, this one is a whole lot crazier.

Read the synopsis, it seems promising! I'm wondering if the two Reinas are actually connected? The background seems a little different but due to how Reina works it could totally make sense in the end. Don't answer that by the way, I'm just intrigued by the mystery. Now to find a good place to read the LN definitely legally.

Kamisu Reina series is free in bakatsuki, but you need to find a legal site for the former. I'm sure there'd be few.
