How high was your doorstep for you to need to step off it to know how deep the snow was?

Our driveway dips a little so the top of the steps are about 3 1/2 feet higher (depending, the ground below it wasn't uniform). The snow is higher than the doorstep right now.

At that point...wouldn't it have been obvious how deep it was, then?
Also, I hope you were okay after ending up chest deep in it.

It would but it's one of those insane curiosities. Like... "How high is this on me" kind of curiosity. I mean... I also had the urge to run full tilt across my doorstep and launch myself into the snow bank but I'm already sick and that probably won't help. lol
