Do you prefer starters or desserts?

This is actually a very difficult question. The cuisine of my region is very strong in both dishes.
I choose dessert, but it was a tough choice. Are you by any chance cooking something for me? ?

The starters always sound a lot more appealing than the desserts.
Though, sometimes the desserts sound too good to pass up, so I either don't have a starter or share a single person one with someone.

I share the dessert, but usually because I want to try more desserts and so I share half of mine with someone who has ordered a different dessert. Sometimes I'm a glutton. What's your favorite starter?

Chilli nachos
Calamari
Prawn cocktail
Bacon and cheese loaded potato skins with sour cream
Crab pâté with chutney
Goats cheese and cranberry filo tarts with salad
Baked camembert with apples, grapes, chutney, and bread
Deep fried brie with fruit coulis and salad
Different soups
Etc...
