English might seem hard, until you start learning other languages. Like take Chinese, Arabic, Hungarian for example. Literally everything sounds similar and is written similar. The grammar is bottomless. Literally everything is unreasonably hard. Compared to other languages, English is actually simple enough to claim being truly international.

I think the toki pona people might be onto something. Let's just burn it all down and start again
