At the vampire masquerade is usually a waltz with organs, similar to this: The attire is usually extravagant, especially when the nobles get involved. Politics among the clans seems to be a big deal. The masks are variable, but I typically adorn a full black mask with intricacies.

So was it a vamperade or a normal one?

Served on trays in bags beverages?

The New-Bloods served the beverages. They were blood chalices delivered by adorned metal trays. As for canapes, they were served at a long table. Usually, we don't have them at the long table unless other races or species enter. After all, vampires don't require food for sustenance. Though, a nice snack is good every once in a while. As a Queen, I usually refrain from such activities.

Oh heavens, the proposals. I always turn them down, but my position is so secure there is usually no backlash. As for the drama, there is always drama. This time, it came from a rival clan that's gotten a little too big-headed. But I can't give away much due to the sanctity of the masquerade. Just consider it as a teenager trying to rebel against their betters.

By teenager, do you mean they were born a vampire and are now a teen?
Or that they became a vampire, and have lived long enough to be considered a teen in vampire years?
Or something else?

I am but one of many Queens, but my clan is one of the oldest. Consider the teenager thing as an analogy. Teens want to rebel against their parents, and this clan's head figure is the same, not respecting the tradition, and not understanding my position. But they are lucky brats. They are lucky my clan is one of chaos, and I am eager to see what sort of plans they concoct.
