Intersting, I don't know a thing about the Usa school system, germany has many differences in that department, but at least it's more or less free.

I don't know much about the types of aphasia but I will make a guess and say that he is suffering from brain cancer or is having a stroke

I thought it was because course was an USA thing but ok.

Course is the unofficial term which people here use a lot so it kind of rubbed on me
