arent that cringe AND SLOW like the movie (bc written)

Wry smile moment : tried to watch the movie scene of painting of dude being sold, as in novel wrote it well
Instant regret. Closed the tab player. Made me nail the fact i like the written form and not the movie.

That's often the problem with watching the movie version of something after reading the exact same thing: everything looks cooler on your imagination.

is bc its like "loss of a loved one"

Explanation :

1) People immerse in it, like animes,2D. Right?
2) Immersion ultimate is thinking the characters are alive. Still following me ?

3) So just like that, just like bing 300chapters, spectator immerse too much HENCE illusion they can live to 100y old like normal humans, will follow to see it

4) End happen so it break the self-hypnosis "they are alive, will watch them without end"

TLDR : So accustomed of its/their presence, hence "loss" feeling
