Certainly a fun way to pass idle time. Still, that might happen mostly due to the fact a lot of JP novels are 'factory-made', thus extremely similar to each other.

I have a lot of Japanese favorites that I doubt CH will ever beat EG the aforementioned Misaka and everything revolving her and Kamijo and Accelerator

Also the Nameless Monster manga which is short, but really cool

Redo of Healer is also hilarious, even though it's a bit nonsensical in parts and it pisses many woke people off

Now if Chinese WEBnovels are more consistent and planned out in terms of plot, that is completely understandable if they beat JP, which are clearly a bit more rushed out.

And Korean novels don't even need mention. Even stories with good ideas tend to get a bit annoying too quickly. Because they have to force self-righteous hypocritical bullshit into it every time.

Like trying to redeem villains nobody likes and make them into main chars for no reason. Chinese are the ones I know the least about, so maybe better on that front.

Then again, if a work has enough badness in it, it can become very funny too.
