Now, if I agree, I would have to endure being an outsider in a group of friends.

I would be the center of attention because I'm the odd one out.

They would share glances and inside jokes and I wouldn't be able to reply or understand their usual behavior between friends.

I wrote that in a novel that's not the focus, but I feel if it was the focus it would be fun to see how they would overanalyze things that are simple and instinctual to people

It would be kind of like Cautious Hero. It is not a bad concept.

never heard of it
is it good?

It is an overpowered guy who overanalyzes everything due to his cautious personality. He will train before fighting every enemy, and even if he has outclassed them in stats, he will still be cautious. I liked it, and it is a pretty funny gag.

just read the synopsis
it sounds more like physical than social
it's interesting but it's based on a specific type of gamer and not a freak who wants to fit in and not stand out in any way

funnily enough, I'm having more fun and it's easier for me to write those social things than typical Isekai fantasy stuff lol

you're giving that protagonist social anxiety

not really in the context
he just doesn't want to stand out in a typical Isekai story, analyzing and trying to be "the one in control" in every conversation so people don't take advantage of him

at least I think it's that way.......

That is social anxiety. If you are expecting to be taken advantage of in a social interaction to the point of analyzing every conversation, you have social anxiety.

I gave him social anxiety subconsciously
there's even a part where he says that he loves his little sister because she's simple and predictable, instead of the rest of the world

damn...

Anxiety is a fear. In which, you are expecting something to happen. It is part of your monkey brain telling you that something bad will happen.

That almost the eminence in the shadow. Except that he don't want to stand out and overthink what he could do as a mob while in the shadow unknow from almost anyone he trained hard, becoming the most powerful being in the world and involuntarily created the most powerfull secret society but he still follow his plan to be a "mob" and just have fun
dummycake

that's similar but not quite
his mission is to find his little sister
he doesn't want to have an adventure, he wants to gather clues and find her
he would get famous to find her, but that will lead to more problems

I'm rethinking this novel entirely....
the thing of overanalyzing is fun but there's no end goal of fitting in
if you want to find her just get famous and talk to everyone???? idiot

The only way I see the overanalyzing fitting is making it a joke

I'm going back to the storm of brains!!!

That is a bad argument to rethink everything. Can getting famous help with finding someone, sure? Maybe? You gain connections, and you have people that follow you to ask. That doesn't mean much though. If someone doesn't want to be found, they could remain hidden. And if she is captured, all the more so.

You can even go the parody way by having your mc reading too much novel/manga in his past life/previous world, so when he are in a situation he overanalyze everything by the information he had gathered in the novel/manga.
