One thing I most face trouble while writing is about writing multiple characters. Giving their own unique aspects and capabilities. But the most troubling is how to make the conversation of each them different from the other. Whenever I write a dialogue of a character. I feel like, did I...
I will take chinese novel as cultivation novel since it's the genre of a lot of their novel. It was one of the first story I read as a novel and at the beginning the faceslapping was really great not gonna lie but after it's more the world and the law who rules it that interested me. Even if all cultivation novel can be somewhat the same, they all have a different world and rules on it and I find that interesting.
The progression of the mc and the one close to him/her, their struggle to reach their goal. Other thing are that compared to jp manga that I readed a lot before begin to read novel, they don't care at all about killing people for what they think is worth it or to defend themselve, they even destroy planet if that mean they can protect those closer to them.
ok, on that note, most cultivation novel characters are quite similar to each other. Theyre either the docile dude, Mc's bitch, arrogant young master, etc. The longer the novel, the worse it gets.
