@SailusGebel It's dead. And I have no plans to continue on it because the starting premise is wrong, the MC i am using now is too whacked to do proper changes and the continuation is filled with oddities and weird curveballs and sudden "THINK FAST" moments because "real life is random" BS.

@Paul_Tromba the thing is, it has already been used and sure the system is generic, I don't think that I can just swoop in and reuse the same asset in another unrelated work for no good reason.

Yes there is no legal/ moral reason, but would I feel iffy about copying myself? It is mixed. On one end, I have a model ready, on another, I feel like I am rehashing.

You're not rehashing. So long as you can justify why the system works the same in another story then go right ahead.

Just because you used it for something else doesn't mean you can't use it for a new story. Plus, it may work better in a different setting.

The strength of the possessed is also a factor; too weak of a vessel and not much of the higher being can be on said plane. This is why James' system is the cash in system, pump money in to get more powers and each level up brings James into inhuman levels. Of course, James is not the only bet as he has three childhood friends.
