If you are drying clothes outside. It’s a good way to make clothes last longer as it’s gentler than a machine, not to mention good for the environment!

I don’t know about it being gentler, I dry my clothes inside away from sunlight.

Air drying has little to no friction damage versus driers that spin as well as less heat (should you use a heat cycle). It’s one of the reasons sweaters are commonly laid out to dry. Fun fact :)

No, I mean, I hang my clothes inside to dry. Since sunlight damages, and wind might have dirt blown onto it.
You know, dirt stains are not fun.

Oh, I understand what you mean now. Technically, you could dry your clothes in indirect sunlight outside or inside. But I do like the smell of the sunshine too, ya know?
