Because I am doing a comparison with chinese cultivation and the class and sorcerers.

My understanding of current web written cultivation novels are that you require a spiritual root to even start cultivating and then you need to grind. A mix of both wizard and sorcerer.

Whereas the translated manuals in Wuxiaworld never had such a requirement, instead only vague shits on how to cultivate.

iirc, Wizards are just really smart bookworms who've spent a lot of time reading and understanding the arcane. The only requirement seems to be the diligence and to study.

So yes, if you give someone enough books, they could be a wizard.

So long as those books only contain the word fireball.

You need to get a B or higher on the test to be a wizard.

Although for cultivators, Monk and maybe druid are better comparisons. Or hell, Fighter might even be better. You just gotta say Experience is earned by snorting lotus seeds instead of killing things.

What is the end goal of wizards or any magic user in DnD? Godhood? Truth?

Because the end goal in cutivation is actually immortality

Wizards can have varied goals. They can be mad scientist types searching for knowledge, power, and yes, immortality. But they can also be set up as guardians who protect secrets or artifacts, or just old people with no specific end goal who like reading a lot. Some of them turn into gods along the way~.

I have no idea what an mpreg cultivator would reference in this conversation. I thought you didn't like the Omegaverse thingy?
