Some people are just thin skinned. I do agree with what you mean by being butt hurt though. These days most people get offended by everything. That's why you just have to becareful of who you talk with and how you are talking.

@Alverost yeah i agree with that, ppl should carefully choose their words before talking. But you know, in this case it's so funny how a random guy arguing about a novel review that i wrote, saying that he was pissed off bcs i stated in my review that i like novels without OP MC, and i was like "......uh...excuse moi??" So now i can't even like something? That was so stupid and funny at the same time haha

What did the dude even say? Some people think their opinion means more than others. I saw a thread about a guy complaining about an anime getting really good rating and he was pissed cause he thought his opinion meant more.

@Alverost Ok so he said that i might not like op mc, but most ppl in that "particular site" do love them so i should mind my words, all caps. First of all, i never said that i don't like op mc, i did said that i love how the mc isn't op from the start. Second, i didn't write any rude or hateful remarks against novel with op mc. When i asked why did he feel so upset with my review, he told me to chill out.

Probably just a controlling guy and secondly you didn't do anything wrong. Even if one person think an anime is great that shouldn't stop another person from giving a different opinion. That's what free speech is about.

People tend to have strong opinions nowadays. The best way to argue is not to give out facts cause they won't change their opinion based on fact. It is to treat hate with kindness. Of course it doesn't always works.
