Here is a two cent, try another lighting method?

Because the image does not really show the two sources of light (candles) well.

All I see is Tamamo's glowing face and boobs.

Noted! Will light her clothes and body a bit more. (Also, it's actually three candles, there's one more just under the camera/pov)

Might sound like I am bs-ing, but I did notice it after typing, though I don't see its impact, seeing how the candle on the right is lighting her "crooked-looking" left thigh (right thigh from our view) has a more prominent glow.

The middle candle has very little impact/ presence if I can attribute Tamamo's face and chest glow to the right candle. Overall it is an improvement to the previous drawing.

Knowing how to play with lighting will greatly improve your work! ^_^

I can help you with that, if you'd want me to.:blob_melt:

Here's the thing about lighting. There are not much rules about it, save for make it 'believable' enough to escape most people's prying eyes. And to have it pass enough to be 'believable', we need to understand where the light is coming, and the shape it might take once it hits our character's body.

So, these are my examples...

Light source at the front, so shaded areas should be illuminated.

Light source to the right, so shaded areas should be illuminated.

Now light source to the left side, so shaded areas are illuminated.

Having three light sources hitting your character at the same time can be tricky, but going back to basics will help you. As such, consider your light sources, think of where the light would hit the body, and follow its contour.

Btw, I haven't said it yet, so I'll say it now. Tamamo is cute. XD

Shadows and lighting work together. And, don't worry much if you're doing it right...practice and you'll eventually get how it's done.

THANK YOU!!! I'll start working on it as soon as I finish my current chapter. Just finished a rewrite of an earlier chapter so I now have barely any time to write a new one :sweating_profusely::sweating_profusely:

Tamamo is cute. XD
There's a reason I picked her as my first playable servant even though she's the "Hard Mode" for the game lol
