... yeah. That's kind of how it is described by Aleister Crowley in his books on magic. He somehow found a way to create an entire sex magic system, wrote demon sex fanfiction, and explained how magic is a science that utilizes otherworldly properties instead of physical properties. All of this during the 19th-20th century.

I think we view it as coding because of computers. We code in computer, computer churns result and hence, magic is like coding.

I wonder if before coding, what do people view magic as, other than being mystic and untouchable.

Is it like Taoism scribbling shit and viola, a magic rune talisman? Or is it like poetry, where you sing a language and tone to activate the aether.

Or like the merchants who traded coins and use their currency and scheming to get a better bargain.

Or painting?

Maybe I got sick of seeing magic as coding becausd that is what most books are on.

Why can't it just be as simple as breathing.

I think they viewed it as a language used by people over centuries, :blob_hmm_two: :blob_cookie:
A bunch of nonsense that is always confusing, :blob_cookie:

Yeah... as I was typing, I already noticed why coding is used to describe magic all the time.

It is supposed to be simple. More simple than speak English. Take a block and another block (cylinder) and mash them together to get a different string with different purpose.

I just got so sick and tired of it.
