I fucking love living on the equator. You live in an oven for 3 straight weeks followed by a violent, flooded shower camp for the next 2. You start to fear clear blue skies, for you know your couch is about to become Noah's Ark in the next six hours.
It's no hurricane but it's an everyday experience, at least.
I’m mostly referring to business climate, economy, jobs and public safety when it comes to Florida. Where I live shops are getting robbed all the time -_-
Yes, Cape Hatteras. That's sad though. They have these amazing things called apple uglies. They are absolutely delicious but they only make a certain amount each day and usually sell out by 9 AM during the fall or spring with an hour wait limit after 7 AM. If you aren't at the door around 5 AM during the summer then you will be out of luck.
