You made it sound like you would invade the Chapter's homeworld, which is not under Tyrannid invasion. If you did invade the homeworld, it would be bad because only a fifth of Chapter is there. The other 800 Space Marines are fighting the Tyrannid swarm on the neighboring planet in an attempt to stop them from reaching our homeworld. It has devolved in an endless slugfest with no end in sight.
