Like for example in this very chinese scenario, a noble sent his son to another noble's house for apprenticeship, does he say shits like "give me some face and treat him well." ?

Or when someone in the household got caught commiting a crime and the noble say shits like "give me some face." ?

I feel that this is a very asian thing and am very puzzled by it. I know that in novels, it is highly exaggerated.

Cuz people just bribe.

Maybe.

I've never heard of this outside of Asian nobility.
