Yes. I have been slowly updating my main story with a newer draft. What I'm trying to figure out is when to stop rewriting and editing so that I can self-publish it.

No matter how many times you read something you are gonna miss certain mistakes. I’d hire someone on fiverr or Craigslist to go over and edit the story if you are serious about publishing. That’s how my great grandfather did it for his pseudo autobiography he wrote.

Reminds me of an art teacher who talked about how he would often be tempted to through away his art because he could only see the imperfections.

I plan on sending it to an editor but not until I've decided that I no longer wish to edit it or it is good enough for me to be satisfied. Though I have yet to be tempted to throw it out. I just don't know when I should stop looking for imperfections to change or edit.
