I am half guessing handwriting but I can be far off my mark.
Because I know a couple of med grads who somehow still write legibly when compared to my caveman scrawling.

Basically, the options I was given were just like, a. 10⁵ b. 10⁶ etc, so I could approximate every value and still get the correct answer
