I don't see how a person's relation with another dictates one's talent. That has to do with experience, natural talent, and knowledge. Ben, Hanz, and Ai-chan are all better writers than I am for all 3 of the reasons I gave and I'm learning a lot from them just by discussing writing and reading their work.
