That Nagumo is the antithesis of the classic isekai protagonist?
While Kouki is basically his rival and shows how idiotic the isekai protagonist trope is.
I never liked Kouki. He always caused problems for Nagumo, even before they got transmigrated.

Then you would be even more pissed by how the author tried to explain why Kouki is such a self righteous POS.

He got a lawyer grandpa that he admired, who would teach him about being righteous and shit. Then the old fogey died and forgot to teach the young wad the most important lesson; don't be a stuckup fuck.

Though seeing how he did not confront the bullies and only dare to "advise" Hajime, I always believed that he is not a true good person and only knows how to put up a show.

I think the reason Kouki comes off as really preachy might be in part due to modern Japanese culture being quite unconfrontational.

That and it's meant to contrast with Hajime's "actions speak louder than words" characterization.
