Jeez, this person is so salty over a free story on the internet. I mean, they're complaining about the intro being so cliche and the character being a wuss. I read the intro and I think it does a good job establishing the character. He doesn't want to go to the assignment because of his beliefs, that tells so much already. That person is just a snobbish hater who thinks everyone should write books just for them.
