I hate that the book of seal
only contain the same 5+ish spells
like corpse-revive, shadow clones, teleport kunai.

I am legit not sure what to blame.

The author of naruto. (for writing so little of them) (especially naruto being like : sharingan 24/7) (sure i once saw why it works so well + the logic of : anything that works dont need to be changed but still....)

Or the fanfic writers that cant invent new stuff.

I mean.

Its a SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wasted potential.
Especially with older series that also did this trope of "big list of big moves but readers dont know what is inside"

Like detective neuro.

"Hey we got this huuuuuuuuuuuuge and biiiiiiiiig book, that contain the most op and most dangerous techniques, of konoha, the strongest country and strongest village of the world !"

"Nice ! What does it have then?"

"Uh.....10 spells."

"....that is all?"

"Yep!"

Personally I think it makes sense for that few over-the-top jutsu. It also shows the ceiling of the world (in Naruto's case, revival is the ceiling and there will be no time travel, time stop or even casuality manipulation etc)

I mean, it's supposed to be the top of the crop, you can't have low tier things like Sasuke's fire breath inside.

As for Neuro (thank you, I am now inspired once more for my own written work), they give a big list to showcase how "big" it is supposed to be. And yes, I am disappointed that I did not see all 777 items.
