I uploaded my novel, I got 3 readers and 2 favourites and around 50 views (idk but when I click chapters it shows only 7 views, I guess views doesnot equal read) in one day. is my story doing horrible?

And what should be the release schedule?

I'm planning 3 chapters per 2 weeks

And have a backlog of 13 chapters in case, should I open up a patreon too?
Still I got no comments :blob_teary:
And only two feedbacks (in forums)

It takes a while to build a large readership, some people get lucky, but usually it takes time and consistency. You posted your first three chapters yesterday, so it's too early to tell. Release schedules varies wildly from twice a day to once a week and your success also depends on that. Daily updates get daily exposure on the latest update and readers build a better habit of opening your novel daily. But consistency is more important.

Opening a patreon depends entirely on you but manage your expectation like with comments and favorite; only 1% of readers favorite and 1% of those that favorite comment.

3 chapters in two weeks? Considering that your chapters avg word count is around 700, you should aim for at least 3 chapters a week, and that's already nowhere enough, imo.

You should do what you're comfortable with and don't sweat too much the details since it's your first novel.

Actually, you know what's weird? This morning my latest chapter had 3 likes and only one view. I think the site's metrics might just be a little confused right now

Views = someone opening one chapter but not keeping it open and just moving on; perhaps they read very fast, or just read a sentence and thought "Maybe later" or "this isn't for me" or "why did I click that? I was looking for a different story"

Read = Kept the page open on an active browser tab long enough to have read at least half of it.

SHOULD be? 2000 to 6000 words a week, posted in whatever form you feel comfortable with, at a minimum of once per week, maximum of daily.

Whatever you believe you wish to be the "bonus" for subscribers, double it (so if you want your subscribers to have access to three chapters before anyone else does, have a backlog of six; if you want them to have ten chapters, have a backlog of 20), as long as you can KEEP that backlog going until you finish the novel.
If you have any doubt you can do that, you aren't ready to have a patreon yet.

Heh. Five stories, 15-60 chapters each (before two had to be pulled), I believe 30 total comments, most of them on two chapters of one story (the rest all gone with the stories when they moved to Pocket FM). And that's for about six months of writing.

Got a lot more action there with mine.
