I would find it interesting to see how much money they make. By doing this because it has to be worth their time. I guess is like starting a cult.

Most of them live in countries where $10/day is normal.

this. my first WN site ever (not here) I admit it, I was all excited like a kid on christmas eve, I reported back to my writing group, and... guy was like "oh, you mean you're all excited to see an art scammer, I bet."

and yeah, that made *way* more sense, lol.

Welp, just posted my first chapter on here and kinda sad to see that all the glowing feedback is from scammers. Ah, well. Glad I looked at the forums before replying, at least!

The "Hey, buddy" as a form of address was funny, at least. Half tempted to reply with "I'm not your buddy, pal."

Edit to add: Very glad this resource exists! I wasn't planning to respond to this message, but regardless, this is invaluable. You've helped at least one newbie out.
