As I am unable to delete/edit the original poll, I'm forced to do it this way.

19 people want to play, nice.
Next question: modded or vanilla.

If you vote on modded, please name the mods you want to have in the comment below.
I won't promise that all will be included; however, if one mod is mentioned multiple times, it will have a much higher chance of getting in. Assuming that "modded" wins.

Note: Vanilla doesn't mean there will not be any QOL plugins like map, dead chest, spawn TP, home TP, some warps, and so on. If so desired, that is.

If you didn't want to play in the original thread, please don't vote. I will only be counting votes from people who wanted to play.

Is free.
As I mentioned in the original post, I have free resources on my machine that I have no use for in the immediate future, so why not host a server on it?

Ohhhh I'm puzzled. I wouldn't mind mods, but I also can't think of any Minecraft mods...

I'll vote yes and I'll do some Googling, if I find any I think are neat, I'll get back to you.

Vanilla is best because most mods make the game either unplayable for those that do not know the mod or takes away from the core game.

If you want to play vanilla, you can still do so easily in a modded server, but if you want to play modded, you can't do so in a vanilla server. Just make it modded and people can interact with things however they wish to. All the Mods is good for that, especially All the Mod skyblock stuff.

Which is to say, a single modpack to download is the best option rather than picking out mods to use for simplicity sake.

Especially a modpack that otherwise has a guidebook mod/questbook so people can read it for understanding.

While I won't play, I do have some suggestions.
First, even if you choose vanilla gameplay, I would recommend running at least an optimization mod (e.g. lithium/sodium, not up to date on these).

As for actual content: a cobblestone generator and crusher mod, to make getting sand and gravel much less tedious.

Finally, if Fire and Ice is still around, that would be a fun pick. It adds dragons, sirens, cyclops, and other mythical creatures, which would probably go well with this crowd.

Overall, keep it light, with just enough to add a little extra variety and quality of life.

I'm pretty sure that Simple Storage Network is dead, but maybe Storage Drawers.

I seek nothing more than to have a humble fishing space where I can watch the sun, sets and rises on a grateful planet. Preferably vanilla, because even in vanilla my computer probably would have big problem connecting with y'all white ppl

There's a really good dragon mod where you can play as a hatchling and grow up into a dragon.
