There's this story I have always wanted to write since I was in high school. It all started one night when I was feeling emo. The story goes this way:

A girl who stumbles upon a magical stairway to a crescent moon-shaped world across the sky. The beings that dwell in that world are called the lunar race (night elves). She faces a lot of trials and eventually grows up into a strong, confident and fearless woman (she used to be cowardly and would tremble in fear in the presence of the Lunar King). Of course, there's romance. It's a must! It's dramatic, depressing (the MC is), angsty (all the heartache and the Lunar King) and tragic (the backstory of the Lunar King's sister uWu). The ending is pretty much a magic-realist approach. Isekai much!

This is an idea I came up with but don’t think will continue because of embarrassment.

The Sea Men in a Dark Cave

The Story of two lone Sea men. One woke up in a dark, naked. The other, woke up with no arms. The cave was very vast. So vast that it was a labyrinth. The naked one helped the other, as he had no arms. Even though he had no arms, he had a brain. He was their brain, while the other was their strength. The two worked together to get out of the cave, that they found themselves in. They go through many struggles, and pains together. Each room they went through was a different place. They didn’t know when they could ever leave the place. It’s like it went on to infinity. The rooms held many strange, dangerous, and even wonderful things.

They also had met other poeple. They, too, had found themselves in the Dark Cave. Except, these people came from different entrances. Some, the girls, were thrown in as sacrificial gifts to the gods. Another was an adventurer, who dared to enter the Cave. The cave is called the Cave of No Return. It’s pity though, the two girls loved each of the two men. The two men however had no interests in the girls. They only trusted each other and each other only. They didn’t trust any others. The young adventure pitted the girls. The girls soon gave up on the two men, and respected their love for each other. In fact, they had become rotten after they witnessed the two’s love. The girls ended up settling with the young adventure, he too, was just as beautiful as the two men. Plus, he was a strong, kind, trustworthy man. That was a plus for the girls.

These five became companions and soon left the cave. Once they the Cave, they went on many adventurers. The five soon became famous among citizens of some nations. They were regarded as the Legendary Elite Five. No one dared to mess with these five.

EDIT: okay someone asked why the guy had no arms. So, I wrote some info then I went on rambling about other stuff.

His arms were lost because there were people who hated his family. They came, as the cowards they were, and cut off his arm while he slept. Mind you, this is when he was a kid. Later, the slavers had enough of him over the years. He had no use because of his arms. Thus, they threw him into that cave.

Don’t worry though, he does find metal arms in one of the rooms they went into.

They weren’t real arms but it helped him a lot. Especially to fight. The arms brought him power. As for fapping....The other guy helped him with that.
Uh, you guys can imagine who’s the gong, and who’s shou. Actually, no, fuck that. I would love to see them switch every once and a while. What can I say, I do love couples who switch.
It’s totally up to your imagination~

Oh, that young adventurer and the two girls had a threesome. The girls went back to their village and taught them a lesson, while saving the many poor girls that might be sacrifices. One of the two sea men pulled off a bluff that he was the god, and that he doesn’t need sacrifices. The villagers took the bluff and didn’t sacrifice any more girls.

I have a story about new corn, an experimental sentient strain of corn that kills off humanity. I originally thought it would be a really good horror story but then as I wrote the first chapter it just felt really depressing.

I wanted to do a parody of the Mothra that had a Silent Hill aesthetic and set in my hometown.

This was way before the "Society d'Hakucha Uta" setting.

I ideal for story it called Shadow a 14 teenager who became the vigilante Shadow.

Shadow is set in year 2035.
Shadow is set in alternate timeline where in 1960 the president term was extended from 4 to 10.

Superheroes and has been around since the 1940. In 1960 the superhero government or SHG for short was form that make superheroes legal. The SHG was founded and run by superheroes. the SHG is official government that is recognized by U.S. but not part of the US government. SHG have total authority what happens to superheroes and supervillains. The SHG decides what happens supervillains. SV are trial at SHG courthouse their no jury just three judges most no supervillain have been tried at innocent. The SHG just villain trial to make look like their fair for there image.

they don’t have to have trail for villains to throw them in prison.

but if they threw people in prison without a trial their would be riot and it would bad for the superhero image.

All supervillains for to the same prison that run by SHG.

The SHG only authority over superheroes and supervillains

The SHG is run by secret council no one known who the members are. The superheroes in the SHG don’t who on the council.

The police can’t arrest superheroes. A special force that has SHG arrest superheroes. All Superheroes if they like or not are under SHG like people under the government who don’t be in the government but they are. Some Superheroes are friendly to SHG some want nothing to do with them.

Heh - reminds me of something I started to create, believe it or not, as a proposal for a television series - it wound up a couple of scenes in Strange Awakening and an oblique reference in Blood Diamond.

XNS: The Extranormal Squad
When the world was forced to accept the existence of super-human beings after an attorney seeking "Protected Status" for "his people" before a televised session of Congress transformed into a humanoid cat creature, holes were discovered in the legal system. The press dubbed these beings "Extra-Normals" or XNs.
A pilot program in the city of Boston, helmed by a so-called "Feral," a relative of the attorney who started the ball rolling, named Nathaniel Hunter has been instrumental in dealing with crimes committed both by or against these so-called Extra-Normals.

I did start writing it as a novel at one point, then planned it as a game campaign, before just tearing it apart and using the bits and pieces in other stories (though if I'd heard of serial novels at the time, it might have been my first one instead of an abandoned idea).

What did you think about SHG?
Except you based it in the USA from the sound of things, it sounds a good deal like the international "Shadow Syndicate" team from DC Comics' old "Milestone" imprint (not sure if they brought them back when they brought back some of the other titles a few years ago or not).
A group of super-powered people, recruited by their existing membership, to police super-powered people around the planet - and deal with threats of a global nature (the only time they came out of the shadows). IIRC they tried (and failed) to recruit both Static and Holocaust (one hero, one villain) into their ranks.
