What would the fandom of a novel you wrote be called?

Since there is a trend of "what would you do..."

Choose a novel you wrote and make up a name of for fans of that book.
eg
Harry Potter fans - pot heads
Tolkien's works - tolkiendilis
Avatar - Avatards
Star Wars - Warsies
etc

How would that work for fanfiction writers?

Hmm... maybe Eldorian. I'm not sure I have a fanbase. But if the logic of the fandom nicknames above is applied, it would be something like that, as the four fictions I've written are indeed written by Eldoria, both as a fictional world and as a fictional narrator.

Emotica: Emoticans. I guess that's a little lazy, since it's what the people of the world at called too, but, hey. Don't fix what ain't broken.

Wouldn't the fan fiction be a part of the fandom itself?

Cinnseis = (Cinn)asloth + Sen(sei) + plural
Cinnpletons = (Cinn)asloth + Simpletons
CinnChans (sounds like Shin-Chan)
CinnaCest (Heh heh heh)
THE CULT OF SLOTH*
or more likely.... "those losers who read that one idiot's trash"

Goodness sakes. These threads. You don't decide.

Your fans decide.
Yep - just like "ships" fans decide the name not the writer or anyone else.

That is and was true; it's not wrong. And here comes the "but" part: streamers and influencers have started a trend of leaving it as a popular vote, so that's a possibility now too.
