I think it's less about timezones than about consistency. As long as you've picked a day and time to post it should work fine.

I mean provided the sex scene makes sense, don't see why it'd be a problem? If it's a sex scene for the sake of having a sex scene though? Eeeeh. Also, mark it. Can't hurt.

If you aren't getting paid, and you aren't trying to, deadlines are mostly bullshit. Otherwise, if you aren't having fun: Stop. Readers can and will notice if you hate what you're writing.
