I would rather know when someone is lying to me. As a bonus, I'd like to know what truth they're trying to cover up, so I can blurt it out. I would call myself the "Court Jester", and spend most of my time explaining that I'm not the Joker, and the frustration would leave me dark and brooding.

Kinda sums it up for me.
