Is it? I genuinely don't know. There are tons of authors out there making money with fanfics on Patreon, I doubt they asked for permission btw I'm asking legally not morally or ethically.

The link is the link to your Patreon, you upload the advanced chapter directly to the Patreon as text or you can also put Google Doc links. Both methods are used by authors.

You open a Patreon and link the patreon in each chapter. I create an Author's Note section within the chapter and design it with different colored text etc. You have to have future chapters already available on Patreon and make tiers for them. For example, 3$ for 10 chapters, 4$ for 15 chapters...

my worry with single tier is that some might like one book and have no interest in another, I'm losing them with that since the price will be higher.

I was wondering why the second chapter of my novel might have more views than my first. Could it be solely due to its name? The first chapter's name is "Awakening" while the second chapter is called "Mother". If yes, I should keep naming my chapters Incest adjacent stuff.

I think that depends on what your goal is with your writing.

How often do the stats refresh? The stats in the dashboard refresh faster compared to the stats on the novel's page. I wonder how often both of them refresh?

Mine is that its a smut but I build up the relationships so the first sex scene is in chapter 20, i guess chapters 10 and 11 are also lewdish.
