    Never mind

I posted it in the wrong place.

    Just wanted to say thanks

I'm not aiming for universal appeal. I'm writing for the people who connect with or find meaning in the material. Those are who I am focused on But thank you for the concern.

    Just wanted to say thanks

my writing style is my writing style. I won't apologize if the "format" isn't for everyone.

Looking for feedback on my story

Really good work but the later chapters are just duplicate summary/synopsis. But the writing itself is really good. Sensory details do some heavy lifting for helping anchor readers into the character's POV.

Looking for feedback on my story

Fantastic! I'm hoping to build an audience here and be part of the community. And I love supporting other creators along the way. ?

I'd be happy to take a look at it. Maybe you could give mine a looky loo as well?

    Just wanted to say thanks

Just wanted to say thank you to the people who have given my work a chance and who plan on coming back as new chapters release. ?? It truly means the world to me.

Has this happened to you too?

Actually yes. ? There's not much from my archaic writer past I'm proud of, but once in a while one of the tiny moments I am will break free and I briefly get to relive it, even if most of the context around it is gone. Inversely some of the more cringe things I've written like to circle back...

What are some things you wish you knew when you started writing?

I wish I had understood pacing better. When I first started I would have a "brilliant idea" and then I would rush to get it incorporated. Ultimately it did not work and just looked like paragraphs of a lore dump with some witty dialogue sprinkled in. It was embarrassing.

Where do you get inspiration for your writing?

Absolutely! I know to some people that might sound silly, but take for instance the song "My Goddess" by The Exies. I can't hear that song without picturing my Second Age story. ?

Tips for writing romance and (non explicit)physical affection?

Cute awkward moments work. Very well. Also a look can say a lot. I have two protags that were kind of isolated together for years and one of them was non-verbal during that time. That gave me a lot to work with for non-verbal cues and communication. But if part of your characters whole...

Writing What is the lore in your fiction?

I can break down a segment of my lore for my big main project: Elves were an interstellar species that after a massive war were reduced to a more primitive time. Few elves alive remember that. The elves also don't know that every 10,000 the species that nearly annihilated their home world plan...

What's your ultimate 'dream' for your story?

Well the story I'm running here is actually a bit of a side project. But my ultimate dream for any of my work would be to have a manga/graphic novel/anime adaptation made.
