Choppy cinematic styles are good for actions and high adrenaline tense situations. For others, not so much.

Synopsis should make potential readers curious about the story enough to click. At least make them care about the MC.

Just don't take him somewhere shady like Discord and scam him.

If you are writing Xianxia/Xuanhuan but the MC is a doormat and not a psychotic sociopath, then you are doing it wrong.
