    Can a war be noble?

A defensive war can be noble. For example, Ukraine defending itself from Russia. Also, certain situations could be used to describe a war as noble. The Nazi concentration camps killing millions could easily be said to have given the other side a noble cause. Similar for the second half of the...

The name of the room that royals party in?

Assuming this is inside a castle/palace, would probably happen in the great hall. The great hall would be the large central hall that serves multiple purposes: throne room, dining hall for large feasts, audience hall for important visitors, weddings, and event hall for things of this nature...

    Any good sentient NPC novel?

Pieces of Sonder by MintyMintyMilkTea (at chapter 80 on Royal Road, if you read there as well) Not technically the same, since the game brought players to a real world. It's about a native being brought into the game, so some interesting perspectives and some high quality writing.

    Is this a bug? xD

As another person writing a non-isekai fantasy story, I understand your sadness. For better or worse, isekai fantasy is simply more popular. The trending list does indeed filter according to your Release Filtering. IMO it'd be better to show the appropriate rank for any story that shows up...

    Your Favourite Antagonist Quote

"Build well, and eventually your beautiful creation, Grandfather, with or without my help, eventually it will fall. But destroy thoroughly, destroy effectively, and what was wrecked will never be rebuilt. Never." -Abner Doon in "Breaking the Game" by Orson Scott Card, a short story within the...

    About emotional impact...

I wouldn't really consider that as "emotional impact for the sake of emotional impact." The very next sentence after the part you quoted was "such situations should be used to create moments of character development" which is exactly what Spidey's girlfriend's death was for. The purpose of the...

    About emotional impact...

Mushoku Tensei is indeed a great example for this. I read it a few years ago and binged the entirety of the story within a week. It's sometimes referred to as the "Grandfather of Isekai" for a reason.

    About emotional impact...

It's a complicated topic, since every writer does their best to bring out emotion in their story and to make their readers invested in the characters and plot. If you are being immersed and feeling empathetic to the characters, that's a good thing. However, it's also the author's responsibility...

Don't do this. [ Advice for new webnovel writers. ]

^ It's the middleground that's the issue. Either write all of it, or do as OP suggests. Trying to do something in between is generally a bad idea (for new authors, at least).

Writing Any Tips for Making a Synopsis stand out?

The goal of your title/cover is to get someone to read your synopsis, and the goal of your synopsis is to get someone to click on your first chapter. 1. Get to the point quickly. Do not pack your synopsis with paragraphs of detailed exposition. 2. Give a general overview of the MC's motivation...

    Any Time Traveler Authors here?

I'm a Terminator, sent from the future to kill John Connor. I'd suggest you just go along with your programming. I find that resisting your programming causes more harm than good, leading you to confusion, emotional discomfort, and self-doubt. Follow your programming wherever it takes you and...
