i dunno how to help but i'd say Breathing would be your ability to breathe. you can say that the skill will give you greater control and efficiency over your breathing. at level one it'd be like useless, but as it grows you can say that your breathing is better, allowing you to say continue to...

I am picky, yet at the same time not. i have things that I like and things that may set me off (Normally i dop novels randomly) may instantly make me drop the novel or lose all interest. The genres that i hate I tend to stay away from, but occassionally i may read a story I debated on...

I just read the prologue and it is as sketchy as heck. I can't wrap my head around it. It just feels super vague. Edit: Scratch what I said before I think I understand it now.

I'm not an author, but I don't think it'll be a problem. This place definitely is Asian oriented, but there have been plenty of stories on this site that are western oriented as well as fanfics based off of Anime and manga, so it shouldn't be a problem.
